Description
Where Performance Meets PurposeJoin a team that values excellence and innovation, at a company known for its iconic golf brands. At Acushnet Company, your background and experience contribute to creating the best products for dedicated golfers worldwide. Here, your performance has purpose.
What You Will Be Doing
Acushnet Company, the global leader in golf performance and innovation, is seeking a dynamic Director of Regulatory Affairs to lead and elevate our compliance strategy across U.S. Golf Ball Operations and our Thailand-based Ball Plant IV. In this high-impact leadership role, you will serve as the company's regulatory expert, guiding environmental, health, and safety programs while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and international regulations. You'll oversee critical areas such as hazardous materials management, air and water quality, site remediation, chemical control, and transportation compliance.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach-someone who can partner with senior leadership, legal, operations, engineering, and R&D to minimize risk, secure environmental permits, and support production continuity. You'll also manage environmental due diligence for acquisitions, lead contaminated site remediation efforts, and chair the Division Compliance Steering Committee to keep senior management informed and aligned.
If you're passionate about regulatory excellence, sustainability, and operational integrity-and ready to make a global impact in a performance-driven organization-this is your opportunity to lead with purpose and precision.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental studies, science, or engineering discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in environmental compliance
- At least 4 years of experience in a management role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Advanced technical skills in environmental compliance
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulations and laws
- Experience with budget planning and management
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally at least twice per year

From the start, you and your family, including domestic partners, will benefit from a comprehensive suite of health and well-being programs. Enjoy the advantages of paid time off, an onsite fitness center, acupuncture, physical therapy, wellness coaches, and more.
Our financial benefits are designed to secure your future, offering a 401k with company match, health savings accounts, and flexible spending accounts.
Additionally, you'll enjoy perks like pet insurance, legal planning, education assistance, and exclusive access to our Associate Store. At Acushnet Company, your performance has purpose, and we're here to support you every step of the way.
Pay Range: $147,498.00-$191,778.00
