Boston University Physical Therapy Center (BUPTC) is looking for a highly motivated staff Physical Therapist to join our team. BUPTC is part of the 10,000 square foot Ryan Center for Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Services. The physical therapists at BUPTC work as a part of a unique interprofessional team including Physical Therapy, Athletic Training Services, Orthopaedic Surgery and Primary Care Sports Medicine providing examination and intervention for active individuals seeking the best possible evidence based health care experience.
As a part of Boston University’s College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College, BUPTC provides an integrated model for Physical Therapy education. By linking the classroom with the clinic, we provide DPT students with a consistent educational experience with an emphasis on advanced manual therapy and exercise intervention. Clinicians have opportunities to work with Sargent faculty and participate in the academic mission of the College to provide a more comprehensive experience for our students.
This full time, direct patient care position will be responsible for independently managing a full orthopaedic caseload and serving as a clinical instructor for DPT students. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working with orthopaedic patients with an emphasis on manual therapy and progressive therapeutic exercise. Applicants must be currently licensed in MA as a Physical Therapist. APTA membership preferred.
